The cold light lamp for photobiostimulation allows for non-ablative, athermic anti-aging photorejuvenation treatments of the skin through the emission of light radiation of different wavelengths, 680 nm in the preparatory phase and 880 nm in the stimulatory phase. By targeting the tissue microvasculature, the light stimulates fibroblasts to produce elastin and collagen, regenerating tissue damaged by physiological aging, UV exposure, and collagen deficiency, as in cases of acne scars and stretch marks. At the same time, cold light has an inhibitory effect on the metalloprotease enzyme system, which, after the age of 40, induces the progressive degradation of collagen in the deep dermis, leading to skin aging. With a cycle of 6-8 treatments over two months, thanks to the cell renewal induced by photodynamic therapy, wrinkles are progressively filled in and skin imperfections are remodeled.
